The Conference Board of Canada partnered with IAPA for their fourth annual Leadership Summit.  There were close to 100 senior executives from a variety of industries and associations in attendance.

Tim Sanders, Former Yahoo! Leadership Coach and author of Saving the World At Work framed the issue of health and safety in a broader context.  He stressed that the social reputation of companies is becoming more and more important.  He also encouraged leaders to look at health and safety as an excellence issue, not a compliance issue.  Treating employees as assets, not as liabilities, will ultimately improve the company's bottom line.
