CEO Health & Safety Leadership Charter
Getting Involved
Signing the Charter

CEOs can join the CEO Health & Safety Charter in one of two ways:
- Contact the Administrator and indicate your interest in signing the Charter; or
- Participate in a CEO Workshop or other Charter event and speak to one of the organizers.
You will be asked to submit the following information to process your application:
- Company Name and website address
- CEO Name
- Full Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- CEO Email Address
- Designated Charter Contact Person (if other than the CEO) with his/her full contact info including name, title, phone number, and email address
- Your reasons for wanting to become a Charter Signatory
Once this information is confirmed, CEOs will be encouraged to attend one of the Signing Ceremonies held throughout the year to formally sign the Charter document in front of their peers. The ceremony is an opportunity for CEOs to show their commitment and leadership in health and safety, and to receive recognition from their fellow CEOs, as well as from the community.
Other Ways to Get Involved in the Charter
After signing the Charter, CEOs and their Senior Leadership teams are encouraged to participate in as many activities and initiatives as they are able. Some opportunities include:
- Participate in the Charter research program overseen by The Conference Board of Canada;
- Share your success story or testimonial - Tell us about your successes in health and safety;
- Host a workshop - we can help you organize a half-day or one-day session around a particular theme; and
- Invest in the CEO Health & Safety Roundtable - your contribution helps to facilitate Charter research and outreach activities across Canada.
